Child behaviour support and ABA therapy for families across London, whatever the situation, whatever the diagnosis. From Pooja Shah, BCBA® & UKBA(cert) Behaviour Analyst.
Hi, I'm Pooja, a BCBA® Behaviour Analyst supporting families across London. I've spent nearly two decades working in ABA, starting hands-on with children and families and progressing through every level of delivery. That means I don't just design programmes — I understand what it's like to actually live them day to day: the challenges, the small wins that mean everything, and how important it is to feel genuinely supported along the way.
My approach is grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), which means focusing on why behaviours happen, not just changing them. Together, we build strategies that help your child feel more confident, communicate more effectively, and enjoy a better quality of life. Whether it's a first word, a smoother school morning, or simply a calmer day at home, seeing that progress is what drives everything I do.
Pooja Shah, BCBA, UKBA(cert), MSc
I work with autistic children, young people with ADHD, learning disabilities, and complex needs of all ages across London — including Harrow, Barnet, Brent, Camden, Hackney, Haringey, Ealing, Islington, and surrounding boroughs.

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that looks at why behaviours happen and uses that understanding to bring about meaningful, lasting change. In plain terms: we figure out what's driving a behaviour — whether that's a meltdown, aggression, school refusal, or a communication difficulty — and build a practical plan that works in everyday life at home and at school. It is used with autistic children, children with ADHD, and any child whose behaviour is causing concern, with or without a diagnosis.
No. While many of my clients are autistic children, I work with any child or young person whose behaviour is creating difficulty — whether they have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, a learning disability, or no diagnosis at all. The behaviour-analytic approach I use is effective regardless of diagnosis. If your child is struggling and you're not sure where to turn, please get in touch.
Yes. I have experience contributing to Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes and SEND tribunal proceedings where ABA provision is being sought. This includes providing detailed, evidence-based reports and working alongside families to ensure the support recommended is clearly defined and appropriate for the child's needs.
