Personalised, practical ABA that fits into real life

Hi, I'm Pooja, a BCBA® Behaviour Analyst supporting families across London. I've spent nearly two decades working in ABA, starting hands-on with children and families and progressing through every level of delivery. That means I don't just design programmes — I understand what it's like to actually live them day to day: the challenges, the small wins that mean everything, and how important it is to feel genuinely supported along the way.

My approach is grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), which means focusing on why behaviours happen, not just changing them. Together, we build strategies that help your child feel more confident, communicate more effectively, and enjoy a better quality of life. Whether it's a first word, a smoother school morning, or simply a calmer day at home, seeing that progress is what drives everything I do.

We highly recommend Pooja for her outstanding work with our son, who is on the autism spectrum. Her empathy, skill, and personalised approach have greatly benefited his development and progress. She's patient, accommodating, and innovative in her approach, never incorporating a one size fits all attitude, she understands the child, takes the time to bond with him or her, and then develops a special strategy that gels well with each child's unique needs. We as a family are grateful for her service to our son and highly appreciate her contribution.

Pooja was my son's consultant for over a year, and she is a great person and a consultant. She made ABA simple by writing steps that are easy to follow. She replied to my messages and tried to find solutions with me, whenever a new behaviour occurred, even if it was not in my son's programme. I feel comfortable with her, she always focussed on what parents needs and listened to them. She also arranged a monthly meeting to observe how the child is doing, observe the tutor, and make sure the child got what he needs and provided different strategies to achieve the target. She asked the tutor to collect data to see the child's progress and how he responded to the program provided. She was always on time and never cancelled.

I started with Pooja from the start of 2023, she is great consultant and most soft-spoken person I have come across. She is very keen about her profession and with her help I have seen so much of progress in my son, since we started. I am glad that I started ABA therapy for my son and that was turning point for him. He is progressing on daily basis. I would have loved to continue ABA therapy with Pooja for my son in future also, but we moved to Scotland.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ABA therapy and how does it help?

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that looks at why behaviours happen and uses that understanding to bring about meaningful, lasting change. In plain terms: we figure out what's driving a behaviour — whether that's a meltdown, aggression, school refusal, or a communication difficulty — and build a practical plan that works in everyday life at home and at school. It is used with autistic children, children with ADHD, and any child whose behaviour is causing concern, with or without a diagnosis.

Do you only work with autistic children?

No. While many of my clients are autistic children, I work with any child or young person whose behaviour is creating difficulty — whether they have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, a learning disability, or no diagnosis at all. The behaviour-analytic approach I use is effective regardless of diagnosis. If your child is struggling and you're not sure where to turn, please get in touch.

Can you help with EHCP applications and SEND Tribunals?

Yes. I have experience contributing to Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes and SEND tribunal proceedings where ABA provision is being sought. This includes providing detailed, evidence-based reports and working alongside families to ensure the support recommended is clearly defined and appropriate for the child's needs.
